Santiago Wine Tasting & Winery Tours

04:37
A sure shot way to chill out in Chile would be to spend half a day at the wineries right on the outskirts of the capital Santiago. Flanked by the Andes in one side and the mighty Pacific on the other, the Chilean territory is a winery paradise with ideal temperatures, soil quality, wind and moisture needed for quality grapes to be produced. Ideal for a half day trip right after arriving at Santiago Recommended to start the tour with Vina Aquitania followed by Cousiño Macul, best to arrive early to enjoy the morning freshness in the winery Taxi ride from anywhere in Santiago to these wineries should take around 20 minutes Make sure to check out the winery websites (Vina Aquitania http://aquitania.cl/en/, Cousiño Macul http://www.cousinomacul.com/en/) to reserve preferred tour time and take note of the fees. Incase you miss your tour time (in Cousiño Macul for example), you may have to wait for another group for English language commentary. These recommended wineries are a short taxi ride (around 5 minutes) away from each other. Request the receptionist at Vina Aquitania to call a taxi to reach Cousino Macul before your tour starts there. Other than wine-tasting on site (included in the fees), make sure to buy a few bottles of the local produce, especially Cousiño Macul Lota Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2006 These wineries in Santiago, Chile are the perfect introduction to this heritage which belongs not only to Chile but also to the wine aficionados who care for the fine differences and richness – bottle by bottle. Iceland Snowmobile 2016

09:42
You can mourn or silently moan, or you can drink, dance and get into a trance. You can bake, eat a cake or just simply throw a fake that you don’t care any longer when your birthday arrives and goes leaving you a year older. Shehzaad had his birthday on the 13th June and we decided to conquer the magnificent Mýrdalsjökull Glacier in south Iceland, the 4th largest of the country, on a snow-mobile! How is that for a birthday celebration? Given a choice of materialistic objects, gifts and galore – we always prefer to have experiences in such milestones of our lives. We believe the experience is what makes us wiser in life, not the mere numbers that turn on our birthdays.

No Way But Norway: Cross Country Road Trip

09:16
A rule of thumb goes like this that if you just want to experience a country by its face value, it will suffice just to be in its main cities. But if you have to feel the pulse of the heartbeat of that country, you have to step outside of the concrete blocks and venture out in the country side. And the best way to search for the soul of that country is done when you drive through its geography. With a tank full of fuel and a heart full of adventure, you can steer the wheel to take you to places unforeseen and hidden far from the usual. The cross country road trip we just did all around Norway just transformed us head over heels in love with that fairy tale country. Over the span of 7 days we drove around 2,200 kilometres anti clockwise starting from Oslo in the east, down to Byrkjedal on south, Bergen on west, Atlantic Highway up north and back to Oslo. As we drive through exploring the fjords, farms, villages, coastal roads including the scenic Atlantic Ocean Road which is officially declared as the World’s Best Road Trip, and been awarded the title as ”Norwegian construction of the century”, we marvelled at the mountain-engulfed lakes and the rough, stunning, untamed, lush land above the fjord, spectacularly beautiful houses with horse, cows, sheep, deer in the frontyards, gorgeous snowdrift covered mountains and waterfalls spilling down from them. Norway is away. This was a road trip surely off the beaten path showing us the Norwegian’s stern alliance between Man and Nature, and, the countryside’s slow pace of life. Brugge Lookbook by Tanusree Ghosh

03:30
Hard to believe that this UNESCO World Heritage medieval town is just 260km away from London. Perfect for a weekend getaway, we made the most of our two days in Bruges. The entire town with its cobbled streets and narrow alleys is a walkers paradise. We discovered the medieval monuments on foot and also made sure our knees are put in good use when we climbed the 366 steps on top of the Belfort. Nice little strolls along the array of traditional waffle bakeries and chocolatiers was greeted from time to time with the sights of the Church of Our Lady, Beguinhof and the encircling canals flowing pretty like a necklace around Bruges. The striking architecture of the houses, the beautiful windows adorned with fresh flower pots and pristine white crochet curtain displays were perfect ingredients to the making of a fairy tale landscape. A toy city, is what I will call it. May be fewer residents than tourists which gave us the impression that the town was all for ourselves as we walked along. Day 1 Look: A blood-red mini dress styled with nude pink tote, monochromatic lace-up espadrilles and delicate lace details.  Lace is such a pretty number for spring and summer, and I especially love the color of this dress and baloon sleeves and silhouettes of this dress. Day 2 Look: For sight-seeing on day 2, I opted for a laid-back city-chic look wearing a polka dot white dress with ruffle hem. I finished out the look with a fedora hat and a neon pink satchel. Adding a pair of white Converse was the cherry on top to walk me in and around this medieval town. Videography and editing by Shehzaad Shams Conceptualised, styled and directed by Tanusree Ghosh Disclaimer: All outfits and accessories (except the pearl necklace which is a gift) are my own, bought by my own money. SareeSutra: Handloom Baluchori

01:47
Around 95% of the world's hand woven fabric comes from India. India celebrated its second National Handloom Day on 7th of August. Country's textiles ministry had initiated the #IWearHandloom campaign, urging men and women to post photographs of them wearing handlooms and tag five others on their social media profiles. They didn't have to ask me twice. My love for India, its art & crafts and most importantly for saree- here is my tribute in a Handloom Baluchori saree. Masaba Gupta London Pop-up Shop

01:22
The fashion hopping continued on day 2 of London Fashion week when I visited Masaba Gupta's pop up shop at the Old Brompton Gallery in West London. The Indian fashion designer has truly contributed some fantastic creations in the style domain with ''a diffusion line catering to women from the age group of 18-40 years''. Her silhouettes are fuss free, vibrant and commercially viable. What better way to spend that Sunday afternoon of London fashion Week browsing through her latest collection over a glass of bubbly and delectable desserts! It was wonderful to have met her in person. Videography: Shehzaad & Tanusree Edited by Tanusree Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored video. Durga Puja Look: Wearing Samanjri Raw Silk Saree

03:02
Ashtami Lookbook! For Ashtami puja event, I picked a raw silk saree named Suryaashtakam from Samanjri's collection. Conceptualised and designed by Manjari Varde, this saree has Gayatri Mantra written all over the Pallu in English using the AumAkshar – a unique font the designer invented to write English in the Devnagari style! Long pull-through braid, high-forhead bindi, winged eye liner and nude lips are the perfect amalgamation of tradition and contemporary ideas and energies that blended aesthetically with the saree. Tribal inspired Gamcha print bangles stacked with black bangles, pair of silver-oxidized Jhumki (earring) and an antique polish ring - both by designer Anita Dongre are all that it took to finish out this look. What We Do In the Weekends in London!

09:43
Even the celebrated poet Tagore expressed the fact that often so many times we tend to overlook the droplets in our vicinity in the quest for rain-drops in lands afar. Sometimes it is the sights and delights found in our own cities that we tend to take for granted or simply overlook in quest of illusion of the land farther. Sunday Solo-date

03:35
You must be happy with yourself first & foremost. If you are not happy single/on your own, you will never be happy in a relationship. Too many people are emotionally dissatisfied with their lives and try to fill this emotional void with someone through a relationship. Spend quality time with yourself often. Cross check, do you enjoy your own company? Quit waiting for someone to come along and make your life worth living; you make your life worth living. Go out and do all the things you always wished you could do because you have no one tying you down or making you feel guilty. Do you know what my only achievement of life ? I have the FREEDOM to do anything I WANT to do. I lead my life, exactly how I want it to be. No one decides how I live. I set my rules. I enjoy my own company. While taking an afternoon promenade all by myself in Regent’s Park on this beautiful Sunday last weekend, I thought I should share how it is important to footloose and fancy-free once in a while! Have a good week, love Videography & Edited by Tanusree Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored video. All clothes, jewellery, accessories, photography and logistics are paid by team Onetimefashionista. Diwali Lookbook

10:09
The endless shopping, exchanging gifts, devouring delicacies and planning in advance on ''what to wear'' drop hints that: the festival season is upon us! After Dusserah (Durga Puja/ Navratri), it's Diwali now! In this year’s Diwali Lookbook, I have conceptualised two looks keeping the festive events in mind. In one, I have shown you how to dress up for Chhoti Diwali (the day before the main Diwali day, a concept widely known in the north of India) and Kali Puja or any Indian/Desi festival events during the day time in an ivory outfit featuring luminescent details and statement silhouettes. I love this creation by Biba for its simplicity in detailing paired with sheer belly. It is unostentatious and classy. Wearing my hair in a half-updo, I finished out the look with a Lovetobag potli bag and a traditional Jutti (a type of Indian flat ballerina shoes) in the shade of autumnal red. I have styled this look with an over-the-top Rajasthani Chandbali from Loveforprettythings and a pair of Kundan bangles by TribebyAmrapali. For main Diwali day, I picked up a classic ensemble by Indian designer Ridhi Mehra. Its minimal yet romantic nature – a lovely coral- peach-ish, delicate flowers, and just a polished air. Paired it with emerald studded diamonte jewels – what else – and a pearl adorned Lovetobag clutch. You can easily make it a night to remember with the sheer details at the back. Happy Diwali to everyone celebrating! Follow me to London Durga Puja'17

06:12
Welcome to a tour inside some of the Durga Puja pandals in London. Durga puja is the ceremonial worship of the mother goddess, is one of the most important festivals for Bengali Hindus all over the world. Apart from being a religious festival for the Hindus, it is also an occasion for reunion and rejuvenation, and a celebration of traditional culture and customs. I call it a public art event. The last four days - Saptami, Ashtami, Navami and Dashami - are celebrated with much gaiety and grandeur when the ten armed goddess riding the lion is worshipped with great passion and devotion. On Shaptami, I went to see the puja organised by Panchamukhee, details of which is found here http://panchamukhee.org On Ashtami, we went to Hampstead town hall which happens to be my most favourite Puja in London. You can find all the details herehttp://www.hampsteadpujacommittee.co.uk On Nabami, we headed out to East London to see the Puja held at York Hall, Bethenal Green, organised by Sanatan Association. http://www.sanaton.org.uk/Durga-puja-programme.php Hope you enjoy Durga Puja'17 with British Bengalis!

Oxford Fashion Studio Presents London Fashion Week Shows

04:14
When its done in London, it can’t get any more fashionable than that. London Fashion Week Spring/Summer'18 presentation just got over, naturally I had my eyes locked to this event and I made sure that I share some of the highlights and trends I witnessed from our attendance to a few selected events. I was invited to attend a few shows of London Fashion Week presented by the Oxford Fashion Studio on 16th September. Neatly arranged open air ramp in the Devonshire Square in the heart of the City continued to be the chosen location to unravel the latest designs of the upcoming designers from around the world. Goncalo Peixoto, Parking Level, Marina Furin, Ayaso Boutique, DisOwned – all the designers unveiled their collection at the 5pm runway show. Unique, stylish and diverse, what was on offer on the very first episode of the event set the expectations very high. I had to leave early due to prior engagements, so couldn't attend the other shows scheduled later that in the evening. As usual it was a great success!
