Las personas que sufran algún tipo de enfermedad o lesión importante, deben consultar con su médico antes de comenzar a practicar. No obstante, es importante que durante la clase de pilates escuches siempre a tu cuerpo, no lo fuerces y no vayas más allá de donde él te permita. La observación de tus sensaciones es muy importante para evitar lesiones innecesarias; debes diferenciar entre las molestias ocasionadas por el esfuerzo, de aquellas que son dañinas para tu cuerpo: si escuchas, lo notarás. Escoge un lugar tranquilo, sin estímulos ni distracciones y apaga el teléfono, televisor, radio, etc. Procura practicar pilates con el estómago y la vejiga vacíos, lo más recomendable es hacerlo en ayunas o dos o tres horas después de haber comido. No permitas que tu movimiento se vuelva mecánico, hazte consciente que estás asistiendo a una clase de pilates y que has de estar plenamente concentrado en los movimientos y sensaciones que van a emerger en tu cuerpo y tu mente. Utiliza ropa cómoda y una esterilla adecuada. Las esterillas de pilates son algo más gruesas que las de yoga. Si no dispones de ella, una alfombra o manta doblada puede servir de manera provisional, pero te recomendamos que si vas a introducirte de lleno en este tipo de entrenamiento, inviertas en una ya que la diferencia es abismal y económicamente son muy asequibles. En las clases de pilates los implementos que se utilizan son: una banda elástica, un fitball (o pelota suiza), un softball (o pelota pequeña) y una toalla. En la ficha de la clase podrás ver qué materiales necesitarás en tu práctica. También puedes visionar primero el vídeo que has elegido para saber qué posturas se harán y si se adapta a lo que necesitas en este momento (opcional). En Aomm.tv tenemos clases de pilates de diferentes estilos. Si es la primera vez que vas a practicar la disciplina de pilates y no tienes ningún tipo de lesión o patología de relevancia, puedes iniciarte en todas las clases y programas de nivel principiante en suelo , donde irás familiarizándote con los principios, los ajustes y el vocabulario que se trabaja en pilates. En Aomm.tv buscamos que nuestros alumnos de pilates se sientan cómodos allá dónde hayan elegido realizar sus clases, por lo que nunca te plantearemos prácticas que no puedas realizar, bien por el espacio o bien por los materiales. This 30 Minute Pilates class is a Pilates workout inspired by exercises that are classically done on the Pilates Equipment. Exercising with them on the Pilates Mat will bring a new dimension and more variety to your workouts. This is a slow flow and gentle Pilates class, so you can take the time to not only find muscular engagement, but just as importantly release tension along the way ensuring you are working the proper muscles and not overcompensating in other areas. We will get started with a Pilates warmup sequence and then get started with Pilates Footwork, Pilates 100 and progress to leg circles, some hamstring stretches, spinal mobilization, spinal extension, inner and outer thigh work and arm work. This total body workout is excellent for Pilates beginners or if you want to refine your Pilates Practice. I would say this is a somewhat Contemporary Pilates routine with some Classic Pilates Exercises. (Hmmm, is that possible? I think so.) I LOVE doing a Pilates class at home and I hope you do to.
