Magic Circle Arm Series

273 ratings | 17179 views
The Magic Circle is a fantastic way to strengthen muscles of the shoulders, chest and back. It offers gentle resistance that will allow you to build strength as well as range of motion. It is important with this arm work series that you keep shoulders relaxed, away from ears and work gently to squeeze the circle, this will ensure you avoid excess tension through the neck and shoulder area while completing your exercises. Work though a comfortable range of motion, listening to the body and working accordingly. I have a rotator cuff / tendonitis issue, and my doctor has suggested Pilates...but what specific exercises would focus on this area, and what equipment is needed...thanks

Eamon Behan if you wanted to get started, Equipment Pilates would be much better for you than mat work as you would be working with springs as resistance to help strengthen your injury. You could also grab a resistance band and try our theraband arms series - there are a few rotator cuff exercises in there that would be great homework for you. Let me know how you get on
