I think it's a good idea to have a friend that supports you while you do this.

I thought you take everything out, then sort into categories, that way you are confronted with a massive pile. Seeing all the shirts, pants, dresses, etc, is what inspires you to get rid of so much. You guys just took out a category at a time.

Hello ladies! Loved this video; very inspiring!! I'm new to the L.A. consignment scene. Can you please suggest a few places for upscale resale where I can consign my Prada, Marni, Dolce&Gabbana, etc pieces which are now too small? Thank you! Have a beautiful day!
Vintage Seller (2 years ago)
+Tamarah Murley Hi, I am a brand re-seller in Europe and if you are interested in selling, please, let me know. More selling items for me, more space & money for you :) Email: vintageseller9(at)gmail.com

Well done! I keep tops that I don't wear or have never worn in big plastic bins because once in a while I will need a top that is just that length, that shade of cream, or looseness to make my outfit perfect. So let's say that I have a lot of ginormous plastic bins :) What I totally discard is shoes that hurt. They hurt me once they are gone forever !

Thanks Marisa. I didn't know about the rolling folding method. Great!
Vivien Maron (2 years ago)
The rolling folding method is great, because your clothes are more visible to you. It's weird, but for some reason you can choose your clothes better. I'd give it a try and see if it makes a positive difference for you :) It worked great for me :)
