Your neck, chest and hands all look just as young as your face so I wonder how much is just great genetics? You do look to be in your 20’s.
YayOrNayNicole (1 month ago)
Hi Shannon, My mom and grandmother did have nice skin so I'd say good genetics are probably half of it but I have really focused on my skin care since my late teens. My hands definitely have age spots. I've had IPL on them to get rid of the spots (although they are back again - sigh). I also try to use my skin care items on my neck when I apply to my face and anything I have leftover on my hands, I smooth onto the tops of my hands. Thanks for watching! -Nicole
Caz Buree (5 months ago)
What is the second thing that your dermatologist recommended?
YayOrNayNicole (5 months ago)
Hi Caz, He recommended SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic which I used for years. Now I like the Drunk Elephant C-Firma or if you want a lower cost alternative, there are many good ones on the market that are dupes. I did a video on that too. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9qyy9iMnq4&t=217s

Girl you don’t look 49 I was thinking you were in your 20S maybe!

OMGosh that’s expensive! I only pay $7.00! Thank goodness I have good insurance that pays for it! Btw, I love your channel!
YayOrNayNicole (7 months ago)
Hi Brooke,, wow, that is such a good price! You are lucky to have that. xoxoxox - Nicole

You look 34!! I can’t believe when I read your age!!
YayOrNayNicole (9 months ago)
Thanks so much Sarah! You made my day! :)
Janna Lynn (11 months ago)
Your schedule makes me tired!!!! Thanks for the great Retin A tips!!! You must live near me, southern AZ since you know people going to Mexico!! I purchased my Retin A from ReliableRX, takes a long, long time, but the prices are GREAT!!!! You look GREAT for your age, or any age for that matter!!! New subscriber!!!!
YayOrNayNicole (11 months ago)
Janna Lynn Hi Janna, I actually live in the San Francisco Bay area but it seems like somebody is always going to Mexico LOL. Good to know about ReliableRX in case I need another option. Thanks so much for joining my community. 😃
Lisa Bafundo (1 year ago)
Hi Melissa I see this video is a year old , I just viewed it...I appreciate the great Retin A information, thank you. I wasn't able to find the video about the other product the dermatologist used in addition to Retin A. What is that product and are you using it yourself? 😊
Stephanie Greisen (1 year ago)
Omg you are so cute Thanks for the tips 😀
Smaro E. Apostolidis (1 year ago)
Im 21 and have been using Retin A for almost 2 years now, but because of acne. I started with the 0'25 for most of the time since the 0'5 left my face like an oily mess and didn't liked it, and then a month and a half ago switched to the 0'1 one. It doesnt irritate me that much and I've noticed a big change in my acne (my skin is clear!!!!) and hyperpigmentation. I use the 0'25 for my undereye area and will upgrade slowly (months/years) to higher doses. Soon I will buy a dermarroller to help hyperpigmentation. I feel so lucky for starting so young with Retin A, hopefully I look as flawlessly as you with your age.
Anita Tate (1 year ago)
I recently started off with Retin-A 0.25% with moisturizer. By the fourth night my face was on fire!!!! It could have been from the sunscreen I used. I've heard reports of that. My dermatologist said I just started too much too soon. She told me to start using it on Mondays and Thursdays for 2 weeks, then Monday, Wednesday, Fridays for 2 weeks, then every other night for 2 weeks, then every night (as tolerated)....If you start to have excessive symptoms, dial back to the step you were on before....If sunscreen burns, I was told to use the mineral sunscreen and it would help that. I used a pea size of Retin-A and a pea size of moisturizer....You can use more if you like or use a serum before application of Retin-A...
chavella minerva (1 year ago)
I bought .05 around $3 here in my hometown. I'm from Indonesia btw. I'm 31 this year wish had started it earlier. You do look soo young x
Emiline Bee (1 year ago)
retinol and Retin-A are not the same thing. There is no non-prescription Retin-A in America. Are you Canadian?
Raquel Lee (1 year ago)
Im guessing you stopping using it during pregnancy right? Did all the results rapidly drop down when you were not on retin a?
Raquel Lee (1 year ago)
Any antiaging skincare tips for pregnant women?😘 i was wondering if vitamin c serums are safe
YayOrNayNicole (1 year ago)
Hi Raquel. Yes, I stopped 100% while pregnant! I was 28 and 31 when I had my kids so I did not see anything drastic change but my age spots were darker. I did not have a lot of fine lines then so I cannot speak to that. Other than that I use it all the time. My hubby uses it off and on and we can tell on lines with him when he uses it.
Ely Collins (1 year ago)
I just started using retin A and after 3 applications (once a week) and I haven't seen any skin irritation at all but the irritation is on my eyes, have you noticed dry eyes after you started using retin A? itchy, burning, red eyes?
NightBear007 (1 year ago)
Wow you are so pretty! You look great!
YayOrNayNicole (1 year ago)
Thank you so much! =) Have a fabulous day!
I also bought TRITIN lotion (Tretinoin 0.1%), and the pimples disappeared.
Really excellent and quality Tretinoin lotion at a low price.

I buy my Retin-A at my doctor's office with my insurance and I pay $15 for the original Retin-A. I love this cream!!!!!
Beachy Waves27 (1 year ago)
I'm using currently the same RETIN a from Mexico is the bests thing I've ever found it using 0.5 for my neck and back of my hands and 0.1 all over my face I'm 32 using it for 2yrs and I JUST LOVE IT. Great video thanks !!!!
tk2 Ktt (1 year ago)
your 49????? omg
YayOrNayNicole (1 year ago)
Awww thanks! :)
Lauren A (1 year ago)
I'm 33 and just started using 0.025% which is free for me in Canada. Even that low strength has been reeking havoc so far. I've been using it every 3 or 4 days and my skin is so sensitive, dry and sore. It is slowly starting to adapt though. I'm hoping that with starting now I can age gracefully :) I just want to rave about the colour of your room! That is my favourite colour in the world and I love how you've done the doors and everything. That colour with your white headboard is lovely!
Chris Joseph (1 year ago)
Lauren A moisturize then apply
Susie Cordova (1 year ago)
thank god i don't need a prescription here in Mexico
Ghoul Princess (1 year ago)
thanks :)
Susie Cordova (1 year ago)
Barbara K it cost me 15usd. in Cabo San lucas mexico. so it should be that or cheaper at the border.
Ghoul Princess (1 year ago)
can i ask you how much it costs? did you go to one of the well known pharmacies? i live on the border and get my medication in mexico sometimes!
YayOrNayNicole (1 year ago)
You are so lucky! That makes life so much easier =)
canthemum (1 year ago)
So I'm just starting Retin-A right now for anti-aging at nearly 45. I have super thin skin now around the eyes and really want to boost collagen. How long before you think I'd see results? You look AMAZING... a full 20 years younger. If you don't start young like you can you still get great results? If only I'd done this sooner.
Sleepy Parrot (1 year ago)
How did it work out for you?
Suten Ta Hotepu (1 year ago)
My flight from MX back to the states leaves tomorrow morning. Why am I just seeing this tip? UGGGGHHH😩😩😩
YayOrNayNicole (1 year ago)
Oh no!!! Hmmm, usually you can find someone vacationing there. I usually ask my Facebook friends and find someone who is going. Hope you had a great vacation!!! :)

They have online coupons for tretinoin. I get my .05% at CVS for $30.00
Red You are a ROCKSTAR!! Yea!! I will try again :) thank you so much!!
Red I tried ordering from there and when I went to pay, it said that I have to upload the script or fax it it to get the retin a. That sucks, wish I can get it without a script 😔
Linda G (1 year ago)
Where do you find the coupons? I paid $117.00 (ouch) at CVS and some places were $140.00
ana Mont (2 years ago)
wow your face looks great. did you only use trenin cream or have you gotten any fillers...not that fillers are wrong but would love to know whats your secret?
Little Lulu (1 year ago)
ana Mont facial exercises and a good collagen supplement will bring back your volume and skin density...worked for me...now I'm working on fine lines which have decreased by about half but I want better results so I began retin a last week...taking it slow....good luck on your endeavors
YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)
Hi Ana, so PhotoFacials basically zap a laser at your skin that damages underneath and promotes collagen which plumps the skin. I have only done them very sporadically but saw a huge result. I really want to do a series of those at some point. I think the retin-a is the biggest thing. Over time it promotes collagen. The C&E protects your skin from free radicals that age you so I think it is super important too. Both are things that you can get at a pretty moderate price too which is nice. If you can afford a photo facial, they are amazing too. Hope that helps!
ana Mont (2 years ago)
+Yay or Nay Nicole can you explain those facials? im 29 no signs of aging yet just a lil volume lose in cheeks but no age spots . do you attribute your facial fullness to the vitamin c or retin a or both?
YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)
Oh and I forgot to add, one thing that I am a big fan of (and really want to do a series of - but it is expensive) is photo facials with the Sciton laser. I have had a 3 of those over the last 7 years and the results are phenomenal and supposedly even better if you do it 3 times just 6 weeks apart. Dark spots go away and then you get the new plumpness to your skin. No real down time either.
YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)
Hi Ana, No fillers yet although if I need them that is certainly something that I would not hesitate to do (after finding the right doctor to go to). I also think that 20 years of using a C&E Ferulic serum each morning (I have a video on that) as well as religiously taking off my makeup every night, using the tretinoin, moisturizing like crazy and avoiding the sun when possible along with good genes are what have kept my skin in good shape. Happy Friday!!!
Barbara Jean (2 years ago)
Your skin looks awesome! Thanks for the info!
YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)
Thank you so much Barbara Jean! Your profile picture is really cool!
cowm11 (2 years ago)
wow! tretinoin is so expensive in America. in my country it's about 10- 18 dollars😞. and now i dunno if it's safe to use it after hearing how expensive it is in other countries
Lauren A (1 year ago)
I'm in Canada and it's free for me
Bela Fischer (2 years ago)
Thanks for you Video Nicole. I've been using Tretinoin for about a month. I've not had any skin reaction to the product ever? I was wondering if this is normal, as most of the vids I've watched, seem to indicate otherwise. Also can one derma roll whilst using this? I've also managed to get this product pretty cheaply without a prescription, made by Johnson. I'm abroad. xx
chavella minerva (1 year ago)
+Juliette Lee you can try ebay the name is Vitacid (pure retinoic acid 0.05% on cream tube netto 20g) it is from Indonesia costs around $3ish. I saw a YouTuber said she ordered it there. hope it helps I'm from Indonesia myself and I just started using it for a week now and it works magic. It works best when you never skip a sunscreen as it helps you to avoid redness and irritation. I have none of those obstacles since I started using sunscreen/sunblock. but when I didn't use any sun protection, my face is red and itchy.
An English wife (1 year ago)
Bela Fischer hi, I really struggle to find it and am desperate. I'm in the uk too. Where do you get yours? Thank you.
An English wife (1 year ago)

weightloss  I have had great success with  all you can eat  '' freelee the banana girl''  diet!!.........  find it on youtube
Red (1 year ago)
Freelee the Banana Girl diet gave me insulin resistance after three years. It's a dangerous diet. Ketogenic is healthier.
Daniel John (2 years ago)
48?.....I would have said 22 or 24 but 48?.... you look fantastic!!  I will recommend retin 'a' to my mom  and sisters and everyone who may ask,  thank you!!...  your awesome

Hi .. Have you experienced hair loss using Retin-A
nedaa s123 (2 years ago)
good for u ... you are lucky :-)
YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)
Hi :). Not at all. I really did not get any redness or peeling either. Have a great day!
Montana Snowflake (2 years ago)
You can NOT buy retin-A products over the counter, as you stated in this video. Retin-A is a PRESCRIPTION ONLY product. A derivative of retin-A, which is RETINOL, is available over the counter in drug stores and makeup counters.
SouthernBredSweetie I tried that yesterday...when I went to pay for it, it told me to upload the script or fax it in 😔 it even ask for the name of the doctor so I don't know how people can get it without a script. Unless you know something?
SouthernBredSweetie (2 years ago)
You can get it from India without a prescription and its made by Johnson and Johnson. I get mine from my Dr on insurance but I'm just saying that you can, in fact, get real retin a from other places.
Sef Jung (2 years ago)
u can buy it at drugstore at Malaysia
Montana Snowflake (2 years ago)
Technically, thats providing Retin-A with a prescription because even the on-line physician is writing a prescription for the online buyer or they wouldn't have permission to sell it. There are a couple of countries that I know of, Mexico and Spain, that can provide it without a prescription. I will be getting my next tube in Spain.
Kirudeniru (2 years ago)
+Yay or Nay Nicole you can also purchase them from medical spas (online or in person) without a prescription (from .025% to .1%). ☺️
mami703 (2 years ago)
If you don't mind, how old are you?
YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)
+Chessa Barron He Chessa, Thanks so much. I don't think it is ever too late. My hubby tried it for a few months (then lost interest and stopped) and I swear it took 5 years off while he was on it. IPL or photofacials are also a great thing. I've had one every couple of years for a total of about 3 times on my face. I'd love to do it again soon. It has been a while. Thanks so much for subscribing! xoxoxo -Nicole
YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)
+mami703 Why thank you! =o)
mami703 (2 years ago)
+Yay or Nay Nicole thank you for responding. You look great.
Chessa Barron (2 years ago)
+Yay or Nay Nicole 48??! Wow, you look amazing! I just started using Retin A this year and I'm already 50. Wish I had started sooner! Loved this...sub'd!!
YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)
+mami703 I'm 48. Thanks for watching :).
Do you have fillers? Botox? Or is your skin like this from this product? :O
YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)
+Yasmin Adam When I start to get the "elevens" on my forehead like my mom eventually got I plan to try the non-surgical stuff but really, the tretinoin cream over these years does a ton.  Seriously when my hubby tried it for a few months we saw huge improvement on him. Also, I did inherit good skin from my mom and grandmother so I'm starting with a good base but I've now been using it for over 20 years and I really think that the tretinoin cream really is the biggest part of why my skin stays youthful. Thanks for watching! :)
Ahmose H (2 years ago)
purchasing a prescription-only product being sold over the counter in Mexico?! NOT a good idea...just watch an episode of botched to see what mexican "doctors" do to patients..smh
mami703 (2 years ago)
Mexico has great products that are exactly the same! Don't knock it till you try it.
Samy CdnGirl (2 years ago)
Thanks for the info. Wish I had seen it before. Went to Mexico last two years but going to Cuba instead this year. Luckily my best friend is going so I can get her to pick it out. Great video as usual ☺️

Hi Nicole, so happy i found you on youtube, you have such a sweet personality! I agree with Mellisa, in that i love and have interests in most of your unboxings, to your beauty secrets to the complete different aspect of cooking/baking. Im 53 and still feel like i can learn alot from you. ❤️ Renee Adams Seifert ( a Pittsburgh Girl)

felinekj (2 years ago)
I have dry and sensitive skin. I do use retinA but I peel, A LOT!!!! I would suggest starting at the 0.025% and working ur way up slowly. If u have never used it watch Angie from HotAndFlashy channel. She did a whole video on getting started with RetinA products. U can really burn ur skin if u are not careful. I went up to 1% but went back down to 0.5% and I don't us it every day. I have a lot of hyper-pigmentation so that is why my dermatologist started me on it. It does help a lot but sun screen EVERY DAY is a must or ur spots come right back! (I call them my cheetah spots : -) Wish I know someone that goes to Mexico. But really a tube lasts a really long time.
YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)
+felinekj I totally agree with what you say! I have to check out HotAndFlashy again. I have not been there in a while. Don't you love her user name? Amazing how those spots come back isn't it. I've had IPL/Photofacial before and that is great too. Hope you are having a great weekend!!!
Favor Fenwick (2 years ago)
I am a new runner, too! I started last July and did the same as you only with light poles! I am starting again, too. We remodeled the house and then my son got sick again so I was only running a couple times per week. I'm trying to get back to where I was and lose the weight gain from these past few months. We have our son's wedding in two months! Thanks for another terrific video! See you in the next one! It's November so I can now say, Happy Thanksgiving!
YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)
+Favor Fenwick Light poles, that is good too but that would have been too far apart for me when I started LOL! It is so difficult to keep up with exercise especially with a sick kid. I hope that your son is doing well now. Wow! A wedding. How exciting!!! What color is your dress??? Is it getting crazy with the planning or is that mainly falling on the bride? Glad you liked the video =). Happy Thanksgiving to you too. It is not at my house this year so it will be a relaxing one. Yippee!!!
Lindsey Zal (2 years ago)
I've gotten 2 tubes of Retin A Micro .08% for free from my derm! It's geared towards acne, but it's the same active ingredient, so it works for fine lines and wrinkles, too :). I've been using it for a few months now, went up to every day, and noticed my hair falling out! I went down to 3x a week and the hair loss has slowed a lot, thank goodness. Retin A is so great!
YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)
+Lindsey Zal (The Accidental Wallflower) Wow Lindsay, hair loss! I did not know that is a side effect. Glad it slowed down! One of my cousins just started it for adult onset acne and gets it for a $5 copay. Hope you are having a nice week! :)
Cara B (2 years ago)
+Lindsey Zal (The Accidental Wallflower) Interesting, I've been on 0.04% Micro for 9 months and I also noticed my hair loss, but I didn't connect the two.  I've got uber thick hair, so I didn't think I would miss it. xoxo C
felinekj (2 years ago)
+Lindsey Zal (The Accidental Wallflower) Hair loss? Wow, I didn't know that was a side effect! I'm going to look into this further for sure. Been using RetinA for years off and on. I do have hair loss but thought it was due to my age. Hmmm??
Susan W (2 years ago)
I have been thinking of going on Retin-A, I have never used it but I think it is time I started! I need to find someone going to Mexico! You are looking gorgeous as always and your skin is fabulous! I hope you are having a great Halloween and weekend! Love and Hugs! XOXO
YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)
+Susan W HI Susan, Your skin looks great but I feel it is preventative. Our Halloween was fun. We went to two parties! I hope you had a lot of fun too!!! xoxoxo

My dad is going to Mexico this December so this video is just in time for me to try some. Thank you for the tips!
YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)
+hollywoodbacklot How perfect! If you have not used it before I would talk to your doctor, see what they recommend and then go buy that in Mexico. I hope it works well for you. Thanks for watching :).
MzVikkee A (2 years ago)
Totally agree. I would recommend this over anything at Sephora or what a dept. store has. Wished I would have started earlier than I did.
YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)
+MzVikkee Anders I agree, I'd buy this over ANYTHING at any price at department stores. Have a super Sunday!!!
Nathalie TheBeautyDiva (2 years ago)
Hi Nicole, I totally agree with you, I have been using 1% Retin A for years now and I use it every night, it certainly has diminished the signs of aging.  Thanks for sharing and I hope you are having a fabulous weekend.  Hugs, Nathalie xoxo
(Jen) (2 years ago)
+Nathalie TheBeautyDiva I'm done.
(Jen) (2 years ago)
+Nathalie TheBeautyDiva I'm sorry, it isn't "understood" by me. I'm a pharmacist. That's a legal issue to me. I've never ONCE had a physician write a RX that I was supposed to understand to be correct!!
Nathalie TheBeautyDiva (2 years ago)
I agree, that is what I meant 0.1% but usually when people state 1% it is understood that it is in fact 0.1%....
(Jen) (2 years ago)
There is no 1.0%!! It's 0.1% tretinoin!! HUGE difference!!!!!!
YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)
+Nathalie TheBeautyDiva Hi Nathalie, I agree, it is amazing! We had a lot of fun last night. We got out for once and went to two parties. I hope you had a great weekend too! xoxo Nicole
Cheryl (2 years ago)
Great video. I get my retina in Mexico as well. I bought generic this last time. No problem works great😍
YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)

YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)
+Susana Garcia Cantu Happy Halloween Susana! Yay for Retinols!!! :)
I am Nerd (2 years ago)
Love your videos! Thank you for posting this great tip - I feel like many beauty YouTubers (who are all so young!) don't address the issue of fine lines and wrinkles! I'm in my late 30s and am beginning to notice skin changes. :( Now I'm trying to take better care of my skin. Also, I just adore your unboxing videos and your cooking/baking videos!! When will you do more?? Keep up the great work!
I am Nerd (2 years ago)
+Yay or Nay Nicole Yay!! I'm looking forward to your upcoming videos!! Happy Halloween to you too. :)
YayOrNayNicole (2 years ago)
+Mellisa Klock Hi Mellisa, You so made my day! I am so glad that you are enjoying my videos! I actually have shot several more (unboxings, cookies and more) , it just takes a long time to edit so that is my big hold up. I just need a couple more hours in each day :). I agree that there is so much on makeup etc but not enough on skin care. I love makeup but I am just as into skincare so I plan to do more on that in the near future. Have a wonderful Halloween!!!
